ARN has revealed the finalists for the 2026 Innovation Awards, and Hosted Network is up in the Vendor category for Cloud. Winners are announced on 28 October at Ilumina in Sydney.
The finalists in Cloud are Commvault, Dynatrace, Genetec, Hosted Network, OpenText, Veeam and Wasabi Technologies. We’re the only Australian company on that list.
What Hosted Network Cloud was built for
Our cloud was built around one thing: making sure partners get more out of the work they put in.
It covers infrastructure, backup and disaster recovery, and it’s sold through partners and nowhere else. They order it, bundle it and rebill it themselves rather than waiting on us, and the ones reselling it are the ones shaping what gets built next.
We were an MSP before we were a vendor, so the people making those calls have been on the other side of them. There are no minimum spends and no rebate targets either. If the pricing doesn’t leave a partner room to make money, it hasn’t worked.
Building partners a way out
The clearest example of what that model allows is what happened after Broadcom bought VMware. The product partners had built their hosting businesses on was discontinued, the white-labelling went with it, and licensing costs jumped by more than 300% for some of them. There was nothing on the market to move to.
So we built something. A platform partners could run their clients’ workloads on under their own brand, with no VMware in it, and a migration across that takes two to four weeks.
When you have no direct business to protect, solving the partner’s problem is the only move that makes sense. The platform became MultiPortal, now running infrastructure for telcos, cloud providers and MSPs around the world.
The measure we pay most attention to is whether partners stay and grow on it. Our NPS sits at +92, well above what most telcos or cloud providers manage.
Every workload running on our platform is there because a partner did that: put it in front of a client, made the case for it, and stood behind it afterwards. So the finalist listing has our name on it, but the work behind it is theirs.
